ACID BLOOM S/S '11

My latest photo shoot was as part of my last project as a second year which I still can't quite believe! The brief was to design two looks with the same theme with the Illamasqua brand ethos in mind when designing. There has been so much colour on the catwalk recently which I absolutely love and it was this that inspired me to use acidic colours combined with a natural palette to create that perfect balance. I wanted to use
natural colours in an unnatural way, and unnatural colours in a natural way which I think work really well. I love to make things too so I spent a few days crafting the neck piece which was pretty effective in creating shape and intrigue to the photographs.


I was lucky enough to collaborate with a fantastic team - photographer and friend Lauren Catherine shot the look and I had the pleasure of working with a very experience young model - Stacey Fenton - who has worked with Vogue and Dior to name a few.
